The <u>notice periods and notice dates<\/u> of the \u201cAustrian Salaried Employees Act\u201d (&#8220;<em>Angestelltengesetz&#8221;<\/em>) should apply also to blue collar workers\u00b4 terminations.<\/p>\n<p>This alignment of the notice periods and dates will now be postponed until <u>July 1, 2021, thus the new notice periods and dates <\/u>will apply to terminations after June 30, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>As reason for the postponement the current Covid-19 situation was given.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Initially, starting January 1, 2021, the notice periods for blue-collar workers were supposed to be aligned with those of white-collar workers.
